“The Inflatable Island Subic”

inflatable 3

Located just 3 hours away for Manila, this bouncy playground is almost the size of 8 basketball courts and is loaded with playground-like obstacles like slides, swings and bouncy trampolines. All this while floating above water!

inflatable 4

Summer is here, and we all want to have fun on the beach and escape the scorching heat in Manila, and Inflatable Island offers just that. A beach + water theme park combined into one awesome adventure playground.

inflatable 5

Inflatable Island PH is the first of its kind floating theme park set above the open sea in Subic Beach, just a short 3-hour drive from Manila.

inflatable 6
Currently the largest of its kind in ASIA. Inflatable Island is home to an array of inflatable obstacles, trampolines, and rides that are meant to bring out the kid in all of us.

At first glance, the park may look intimidating and challenging but don’t worry the park is very safe even for kids and is family-friendly.

inflatable 16

The park itself is just a few steps away from the beach, but it extends further out into the ocean, so life jackets are a must. Not to mention, they have around 20+ Lifeguards spread across the park.

inflatable 7

This place is like “The ultimate playground” that we’ve always dreamed of when we were still young, and now it’s just a drive away from Manila and perfectly timed for summer.

inflatable 21

The park has tons of fun activities to offer and is home to a bunch of obstacles like the Tarzan swing, shaky bridges, slippery slides and not to mention the park itself is one big bouncy trampoline.

inflatable 9

One of the many obstacles that you’ll have to go through is this challenging but exciting wiggle bridge that has swallowed many of its victims.

inflatable 10

There is also this huge rock climbing iceberg where guest can jump or slide from.

inflatable 11

For the more adventurous ones, there is a 9-meter human launcher wherein a person can be ejected high up in the air like a cannonball.

inflatable 8

And another main attraction and also my favorite is the 10 meter Tarzan swing that is not for the faint of heart.

inflatable 14

There are no fixed routes in the park so you and your friends can go whichever direction you want as long as you don’t block the other guest.

inflatable 15

They even have big trampoline right smack in the center for those insanely fun jumps.

And the tallest spot in the park, the infamous iceberg climbing wall.

inflatable 22
Probably the trickiest of them all is the rolling barrel. This thing may look easy but trust me! This thing has claimed many victims and is tricky to cross. Consider yourself warned.

inflatable 13
There is much more attraction in the park, but I don’t want to spoil the fun and adventure, so I’ll leave the rest to your imagination.

inflatable 17
Aside from the water park, paying guest will also have access to the exclusive Bali-inspired lounge onshore.

inflatable 18

The Instagram-worthy lounge serves as a resting place for guest’s who wants to take a break from all that jumping while lounging and drinking their fruit shake on a hot summer sun.

Overall we enjoyed the place and had a blast; it reminded me us of our childhood days when we used to play on water parks with friends and family. We love how the obstacles vary in shapes, sizes, and difficulty but at the same time, it still manages to cater to all ages and capabilities.

The place is perfect for a group of friends or families who simply wants a quick getaway from Manila. Mixing inflatable parks and the open sea is definitely a fun and excitingly new experience that takes beach activities to a whole new level.

Tip: Be sure to have a heavy meal and drink a lot of water before you start playing. The activity can be quite tiring especially under the hot sun. Food and Drinks can be ordered at the Bali-lounge but there are also nearby stalls along the beach and resort.

It is also advisable to apply sunblock and wear rash guards or long sleeves to protect yourself from the harsh direct sun and salty water.

Best to go on a weekday to enjoy the inflatables more with a lesser crowd.
